I teach media and communication scholars from one of two universities who teach Communication Research in the country. I handle a class of about 50 students by making use of both theory and practice.

As the Corporate Communications Specialist, my work is essentially divided into two major sections: (1) management of all internal and external communications of MediLink's corporate branding and (2) management of communications in relation to the IT solutions that MediLink provides its stakeholders. The first major section includes tasks such as brand management of the company, management of MediLink's digital channels (i.e. the website, Facebook page, and LinkedIn page), standardization of publication materials, creation and implementation of communication plans for Employee Engagement Activities and miscellaneous announcements, management of communication-related projects, and more. The second major section includes tasks such as producing and editing User Help Documents for the users of the web-based applications developed and maintained by MediLink, coordination of business workflows into the system development and deployment through copywriting and copyediting, standardization of messages that get prompted to the users for errors, and the like.

My task as a Social Media Specialist involved a lot of content marketing of reading and writing digital brand under ABS-CBN Publishing. On a daily basis, I see to it that I am able to properly market content through management of all the brand's social media accounts. At the same time, I also engage with the users and fans in order to create a more meaningful user experience through our brand.

As a staff writer for StarStudio Magazine (a local Celebrity Lifestyle magazine under ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc.), I was primarily in charge of writing content for the magazine. I have also gained experience in content conceptualization, production, event coverage, and management of the brand's social media accounts.

As an account manager for Synnex, I was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients. I was also responsible for answering queries with regards to the different IT products that we distributed. The queries ranged from specifications to availability depending on the customers needs. I served some administrative duties to the main account managers of Synnex who were based in Greenville, SC.
