Rafael Bottos is an entrepreneur who graduated in Engineering (UFSC) and has a specialization in business from Harvard Business School. He has made a mark in the business world, particularly in the technology, venture capital, and biotechnology sectors, holding leadership positions in highly successful startups. His in-depth knowledge of different areas of science and entrepreneurship skills have allowed him to repeatedly succeed in different sectors, from industrial manufacturing to biotechnology.He has lived in Aachen (Germany) where he worked at the Fraunhofer Institute, one of the largest applied research centers in the world. He is an Endeavor entrepreneur and winner of several national innovation awards, including the National Medal of Knowledge Award (CNI/MDIC – Brazilian government).Rafael Bottos has co-founded several prominent companies such as Welle Laser (invested by WPA), ExactSales (sold to RD / TOTVS), and Vesper Biotechnologies, the largest biotech-focused investor in Brazil. He is currently an active member of the Board of Directors of Vesper Biotechnologies, which brings together a portfolio of 9 highly innovative biotechnology startups that operate from agribusiness to human health and were responsible for more than 15 patents in the USA in the last 2 years.Since 2020, Rafael Bottos has been the leader of Aptah Bio Inc., a Silicon Valley based biotech company, which is focused on novel RNA rejuvenation technology for age-related diseases.
