- Lead an organization of over 140 students across 3 project teams and 30+ majors to compete in the US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Competitions- Spearhead technical efforts such as emerging technology research, site analyses, completing competition deliverables, and inter-discipline collaboration; and administrative efforts such as funding, land acquisition, and partnerships

- Oversaw project submittals and design work for the Design team, and achieved successful completion of the US Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon Design Challenge- Assisted in the management, engineering, and funding efforts of a $380k net-zero energy house which placed 6th internationally- Coordinated learning and project opportunities for a team of over 100 students - Organized annual recruitment efforts for three project teams consisting of 10+ disciplines

- Manage communications for three teams of over 100 members total and several social media accounts- Recruit new members for specific engineering roles, monitor Build and Design Challenge deliverables and work distribution

- Instruct 90+ students in the Engineering Graphics and Design course during modeling labs and office hours- Advise students with their semester design projects on Revit and SketchUp.

- Maintain relations with eight corporate partners to receive over $10,000 in sponsorships to fund our annual bridge build projects.- Lead the six-person external team in finding grants, new sponsorships, and pursuing monetary awards.

- Designed, sketched, and modeled comprehensive gridshell, trussed and beam roof structures spanning 320+ ft for a large transit hub expansion by utilizing Rhino, GSA, and Grasshopper script interactions- Calculated all loads for curved and flat roof structures according to ASCE7-16 and the NYC building code- Performed modal buckling analyses and relevant calculations to determine appropriate member sizing for axial and flexure combinations based on AISC 360-16

- Conduct research on the anisotropic properties of Fused Deposition Modeling 3D printed ABS plastic and test effects of print parameters and intersection geometry on material properties and intersection behavior- Build, customize, and code a Direct Ink Writing 3D printer to fabricate structural prototypes and test material ratios- Tested the 3D printing of liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) and magneto-actuated materials for structural applications

- Organized the annual Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam review sessions, collaborated with professors to provide complete topic coverage, successfully made a profit of $300+ for the UIUC chapter

- Designed and built a 65 meter suspended footbridge in the village of Godloza, Eswatini to connect them to schools and other resources.- Facilitated cultural exchanges between the student team and the community.

- Mapped and conceptualized electrification efforts of over 50 company offices throughout the United States- Assisted in the compilation and analyses of energy efficiency audits with the other 8 members of the Microgrid team- Collaborated with the Red Cross and Southern California Edison to provide a fully self-sufficient Microgrid system to an underprivileged school.
