Devine Propulsion provides independent, confidential sounding-boards to leaders grappling with environmental decisions. We give them a safe space to be challenged, to stretch thinking, identify gaps, and create room for innovation so that decisions are made with confidence, clarity and momentum. We work in an iterative way, responding to needs. This can involve developing or expanding strategies for exploration; critiquing or evolving programmes of work and ideating potential solutions. We work in 1:1s with leaders as well as multiple leaders with a combined project focus. We support leaders in a world where there is a lot of prosecuting, politicking, preaching to them about environmental matters. Isolation & conflict results in hesitation, green-washing & gaps in the thinking behind environmental decision-making. E.g. NZ's Ministry for the Environment focusing on environmental data and The Lever Room focusing on an ocean's road map for NZ.With confidence, clarity and momentum in decision-making our natural world improves.

Board member of the Burnett Foundation Trust Board. Audit and Risk Committee member. Our kaupapa is to have a human-centred, science-led, sex-positive approach to public health. Key work streams relate to advocacy, education and support for sexual health and people living with and affected by HIV.I’m honoured to support the important mahi of the Trust, particularly in advocating for great sexual and reproductive health for rainbow people and takatāpui. I look forward to supporting the Trust’s boldness as expressed in the current strategy. As Anais Nin said, “life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage”.

This unique panel supports responses to severe weather events in early 2023. The panel was appointed by the Minister for Cyclone Recovery and continued after the change in government and expires in May 2025. It is assisted by officials from DPMC (Department for Prime Minister & Cabinet). It advises Ministers of Government and their officials about proposals to change laws to support New Zealand’s recovery from recent severe weather events. The panel receives inputs from officials and elected representatives, deliberates about issues, identifies concerns that need a response, then advises the government about the suitableness of law changes. Our advice is provided to the New Zealand’s House of Representatives and published on the websites of DPMC and relevant government departments.
