Robin’s career has been distinguished by a focus on the assessment and introduction of emerging technologies - from RDBMS’s in the 1980’s , 4GL’s and client-server technologies, in the 1990’s through to mobility and cloud in the 2010’s. Robin has demonstrated an ability to mitigate the risks inherent with new technology to effectively deliver business benefits through innovation, due diligence and in the building of strong relationships with technology vendors.In addition to his IT focus, the last 8 years have included pro-bono work as board chair of a Melbourne independent school.
