During this period he also passed the most advanced level of HSK (Standardized Chinese Proficiency Examination). Richard then joined Arreon Carbon in 2011 as a member of their International Strategy Division working primarily on China-EU M&A deals in the energy sector. He then joined ORKA NRG AG in 2015 as the Chief Representative for the company in China, building the Chinese end of the business. Richard currently works as the Chief Representative and Trader for Phibro Renewables AG. His focus is on Chinese biodiesel/renewable diesel and feedstock.
