Ralph Doggett is the Managing Director of the Council. He manages the Council’s public relations strategy, including communications with Council members, marketing, sales and outreach to the general public. He is the final editor of all Council reports and newsletters, and is responsible for their design and distribution through traditional and innovative news media. Mr. Doggett also provides broad oversight for the scheduling of events, coordination of all technical and support services, and general administration of the Council.

Ralph Doggett is the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Economist for Hagen Resources International. He is a co-founder of HRI, responsible for the management of HRI's financial, administrative, marketing and technical activities. Currently, Mr. Doggett is engaged in the development of a system of interlinked macroeconomic forecasting models for each of the G20 economies. Mr. Doggett is also an avid photographer, with a focus on the Geneva international scene.

Ralph Doggett is currently the Deputy Project Director of Global Social Observatory Consultative Process on Conflict of Interest in the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement. Launched in 2010, SUN is a global movement that unites governments, civil society, businesses and citizens in a worldwide effort to end under-nutrition. The Movement is supporting government-led, multi-stakeholder initiatives in over 40 countries. The GSO project, funded by a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, supports the SUN secretariat in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the prevention, identification, management and monitoring of perceived, potential and actual conflict of interest between and among civil society, private sector, government agencies and donor community participants in SUN movement initiatives. A Reference Note and Toolkit for these purposes has been developed based on the outcomes of a series of consultations undertaken in 2013. The GSO is now engaged in a series of Enhanced Learning Exercises in several countries in Africa, Asia and Central America to review and enhance the conflict of interest guidance documents.Mr. Doggett serves as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Global Social Observatory. He is responsible for the financial management and records of the GSO and guides the strategic planning of the GSO through his membership on the GSO Management Committee. He is also co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Economist for Hagen Resources International (HRI) since 2001, and he is the managing director of the Council for Multilateral Business Diplomacy.
