Rogerio Medeiros has conducted research, published articles, taught courses and supervised academic works in areas related to the following topics: public policies; poverty; social inequality; relations between civil society and the State; social participation; social movements; Research Methodology; sociological theory. He currently works as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB-Brazil), Professor of the Graduate Program in Sociology at the same institution (MA and PhD advisor), Coordinator of GRESP - Group of Studies and Research in Political Sociology - UFPB, Researcher at the Laboratory for Studies and Research in Public Policies and Labor - LAEPT / UFPB and member of the Center for Research and Sociological Studies - CIES / Argentina. During the 2018-2019 academic year he is working as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Afro-Latin American Research Institute - ALARI and as Affiliated Faculty of the Weatherhead Research Cluster on Comparative Inequality and Inclusion, both at Harvard University, Cambridge - USA.
