Duties

• Be responsible to the Head of Department – Automation & Project Managers for the technical aspects & on-time delivery of assigned projects in accordance with own estimates (schedules);
- Provide special assistance for Fault diagnosis, Troubleshooting & Commissioning of Marine Automation, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems when the scope is beyond the attending Supervisor/Technician’s ability & during special case scenarios.
- Provide engineering support to the assigned projects (New construction/ Ship repair vessel).
• Work collaboratively with other technical and non-technical departments within an integrated team environment to deliver engineering projects;
- Manage a diverse technical team, Local Internal employees, External subcontractors & Foreign Service Engineers to complete projects.
- Collaborate with Ship Repair Business, Invoicing & estimating departments to manage cost and schedule objectives.
- Close follow-up with Material procurement division (local & import purchase) relating to the material requirement.
• Work Planning and Production Control to solve production issues in a technically acceptable manner & ISO Quality standards.
• Technical writing. To produce and communicate clear and detailed written technical specifications, procedures and reports.
• Be responsible for the occupational Health & Safety of all direct reports.
• Identify risks, impacts, mitigations and opportunities for improvement.
