Responsible for Help Desk Operations at SkinMedica. This is a young company that has grown 30%+ Year over Year for the last three years - quite a feat in this economy. I provide White Glove desktop support for approximately 300 users. I am often requested to resolve stubborn issues for users and to make sure that the user doesn't experience that issue again. I am also known for being Proactive in preventing further issues by providing user education.

I began working at Shriners as a Systems Administrator in 1998. Through the years my department grew steadily and I received several promotions. I was promoted to IS Manager in 2005.My responsibilities included directing IS staff in the day-to-day operations of the hospital network. My department would assure smooth operation of the network and assist non-IT staff in performing their functions without impediment caused by glitches or downtime.Additionally I was responsible for research, recommendation, procurement and implementation of technology upgrades, counseling and reviewing staff, and creating and adhering to our departmental budget.I received continual recognition for both my problem solving abilities and my talent for connecting with people one-on-one to provide excellent customer service!

I began as a Photographic Technician, was promoted to Shift Supervisor and promoted again to Staff Photographer. I photographed anything and everything never knowing what situation would arise on any given day. The position called for flexibility and creativity and made continual use of my talents for problem solving.
