Unfortunately, amputees experience changes in their residual leg's volume, such that a change of just 1-2% causes pain. This pain is just the start: half of all lower limb amputees develop pressure sores and the five-year mortality rate for a person with a below knee amputation is as high as 82%. As daunting as this may seem, Vessl has a unique solution.
