In this role, Rahul is responsible for leading teams based across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai locations to evaluate the Bank’s risk, control and policy frameworks within the Enterprise Function Corporate Risk domain. Within this risk domain, Rahul leads the team as part of the SLOD to evaluate risk types such as Data Governance (BCBS 239) Model, EUCT, Market, Credit, Conduct, Compliance, and Operational Risks.

Rahul was responsible for leading Data Management Implementation and Internal Control engagements within the FS space of Managed Services

Rahul was promoted as an Associate Director within the KPMG Internal Audit practice in April 2016.In this role, Rahul is responsible for building relationships with KPMG U.S teams and delivering value to clients across the entire West Coast and Pennsylvania, U.SIn this role, Rahul is also responsible for the Performance Development of a team of about 20 - 25 internal audits professionals.

Rahul joined KPMG Global Services as a Manager in August 2014 in their Internal Audit practice. In this role, Rahul was expected to deliver value to the client by collaborating with KPMG U.S in the internal audit and SOX space. Rahul was predominantly aligned to serve clients in the Technology Sector space which were based out of the Silicon Valley/ San Francisco, U.S.In his role, Rahul was also responsible for Performance Development of the internal audit team of about 5 - 7 professionals who were aligned to the Technology sectors clients.Highlights within this role:1. Rahul was able to successfully deliver value to a number of clients in the Technology space, which was based out the Silicon Valley/ San Francisco, U.S.2. Rahul was also able build strong connects with KPMG U.S teams across the West Coast, U.S.

Rahul was promoted to the position of a Manager in Ernst & Young Risk Advisory practice in October 2013. In the role of a Manager, Rahul was responsible for coordinating and delivering value to all EY clients. Highlights within this role:1. Managed and led a team of 5 -7 internal audit professionals on an end to end SOX engagement for one of the largest 2 wheeler manufacturing companies in India.2. Managed and led a team of 7 - 10 internal audit professionals on a clause 49 evaluation for the largest passenger car manufacturing company in India.3. Established and managed a delivery model of providing value around best practices in operational processes, controls and key performance indicators to one of automotive ancillary companies in India, headquartered out of Mexico.4. Managed a team of 5 - 7 internal audit professionals as their Performance Manager and exceeded in meeting all Performance Development objectives for the team.

Rahul joined Ernst & Young, Risk Advisory Automotive practice in October, 2011 as a Senior Consultant. In this role as a Senior Consultant, Rahul was responsible for delivering value to clients across the automotive space. In this role, Rahul was involved in a lot of internal audits, clause 49 compliance, review of Standard Operating Procedure for some of the leading Orginal Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and ancillary companies. Highlights within this role:1. Executed internal audit of various divisions of a truck manufacturing company based out of Gujarat.2. Led a team of 3 -5 internal audit professionals on clause 49 review for the largest passenger car manufacturing company in India, based out of Gurgaon/ Manesar.3. Led a team of 3 -5 internal audit professionals on a SOX engagement, which involved documentation of all in-scope manufacturing processes, performing walk-through to evaluate design, testing the operating effectiveness, evaluation of significant deficiencies/ material weakness and advising the client on remediation. The client was one of the largest 2-wheeler manufacturing companies in India.4. Assisting the client's C level executives for a Mexico based automotive ancillary in defining processes, controls, remediation and Key Performance Matrices. The India operations for this client was based out of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Rahul was promoted as a Manager within EXL's Risk Advisory business in January 2011. In this role, Rahul was responsible for establishing and managing client relationships in the Asia Pacific geography for Risk Advisory service line of EXL. In this role, Rahul was given a $ number as business target to be achieved in this specific geography. The countries in scope of responsibilities were Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Rahul was responsible for the following -1. Identifying client needs across different service networks; 2. Coordinate internally within EXL to rope in the right talent and skill set for delivering value to the client; 3. Establishing client relationships through client service; 4. Managing performance development for team of 10 -15 skilled professionals from Risk Advisory deployed on this geography.In a client delivery role, he was directly reporting to the client's controller for the Asia Pacific region.

Rahul was promoted in January 2010 within EXL's Risk Advisory business and he became a Lead Assistant Manager. In this role, Rahul moved to Hong Kong and was responsible for managing multiple projects across the entire South East Asia region, comprising of client locations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, China and Vietnam. His responsibility was also to assist the Asia Pacific Leader from EXL to grow client relationship in this region. From a client relationship standpoint, he was directly reporting to the client's controller in the South East Asia region.In his role, he was leading a team of 7-10 highly trained professionals on Sarbanes Oxley Compliance projects and process improvement projects. In his people management role, he was responsible for coaching and mentoring his team to provide excellent client service. In this role, he was also executing the performance management / development responsibilities for his team.

In April 2008, Rahul was promoted within EXL Risk Advisory practice and he became an Assistant Manager. From April 2008 to March 2009, Rahul was based out of New York, U.S and was responsible for assisting the client (a large P&C Insurance company) with their SOX effectiveness evaluation. In this role, Rahul was also responsible for coordinating with EXL's offshore delivery team and setting up a dual shore delivery model. From July 2009 to December 2009, Rahul was assisting in setting up teams across Europe and Asia for a world wide evaluation of the client's SOX effectiveness/ readiness. This responsibility was assigned to Rahul since he had prior experience and knowledge of the client's SOX environment in U.S.

Rahul started off his Corporate Consulting Career with EXL's Risk Advisory practice. Rahul joined EXL as a part of their off-shore delivery team in May 2006 and executed some internal audits in the complex area of reverse mortgages for a mortgage bank, which was based out Pasadena, California. At part of the offshore team, he was also involved in executing some audits around sub-prime mortgage portfolio's. Rahul moved to a client facing role in 2007 and thereafter in this role was assisting the management of a large P&C Insurance company, based out of New York, U.S in their SOX evaluations.

Rahul was responsible for impacting technical training to new hires for some large Corporate entities, predominantly in IT/IT Enabled Services space. Rahul played a critical role in the development of Training Module for GENPACT' Financial Training Program (FTP) and thereafter imparted training to the Band 5 employees of GENPACT - Financial Services Vertical.

Rahul was involved in planning and execution of Internal Audit assignments across multiple clients in New Delhi region and predominantly from the retail industry. These internal audits were around stock verification and store audits.

Rahul was responsible for teaching the students of Chartered Accountancy - Intermediate course. Subjects: Auditing and Corporate Law.

Rahul was responsible for coaching students of Chartered Accountancy - Foundation Course. Subject: Economics.

Rahul was involved in planning and execution of the following -1. Statutory, Concurrent, and Revenue Audits of Nationalized Banks; 2. Statutory Audits of Private Limited Companies, 3. Internal Audits of Private Limited Companies predominantly in area of revenue leakage and cost management; 4. Tax Audits; 5. Preparation and finalization of Financial Statements.
