My ethos: “Making a positive impact on people and the environment.”Graduated in December 2022 from the University of Exeter, with a MA Education proficiency in Special Education [Distinction]I am an effective communicator looking to improve access to outdoor and environmental learning.I have 7 years+ experience in environmental education teaching all ages from KS2 to KS5 and engaging adults, family groups and university students in nature. Working for the Field Studies Council (FSC) allows me to access opportunities to teach across the UK in some beautiful locations. By access I am referring to increasing the ability to provide opportunities for those with financial restrictions, physical impairments such as sight or hearing loss or mobility challenges and those with additional learning needs. Now working across Wales and the South WestI have completed the Award in Education and Training (Level 3) which has allowed me to further tailor my teaching alongside FutureLearn courses such as “How to teach online”, “Youth Mental Health” and “Managing Mental Health for Stress”.
