Plan and implement district initiatives that pertain to technology integration and digital learning. Lead professional learning specifically focused on technology integration throughout the instructional program. Establish a digital age learning culture by supporting, training, modeling best practices, developing and mentoring staff. Facilitate professional development that supports transformational instructional delivery through application of technological resources.

Provided leadership in development, coordination and implementation of instructional technology for teaching and learning throughout the district. Facilitated the integration of Technology Services and instructional technology by overseeing acquisition, asset management, repair, and surplus equipment. Monitored and guided Technology Services and instructional technology direction to support all district staff. Implemented a learning management system and coordinated digital curriculum development, assessment, and implementation for personalized learning experiences utilizing 1:1 devices. Provided professional development opportunities for Technology Services staff, instructional technology coaches, school-based Tech Leads, librarians, teachers, principals, and district administrators to implement technology integration best practice strategies.

Advise school districts on blended-learning initiatives, LMS selection, and ongoing training forteachers and administrators. Authored blended learning programs for teachers on the use of classroom technologies to develop Common Core aligned, interactive lessons. Developed a cohort model of professional development for struggling teachers. Activities in theprogram focused around “just-in-time” learning based on a model of inquiry. Regularly present workshops on Google Apps for Education, SMART Notebook and SMART Board forteachers surrounding the use of technologies to support student learning.

Supervised a team of seven education consultants focusing on continual improvement of team’sability to exceed client expectations of “on time, on quality, and on budget.” Promoted a culture asuccess, worked with individuals to improve their ability to coach and provide training to classroomteachers. Advised key decision-makers and influencers on considerations in choosing an interactiveclassroom technology solution—provided guidance on curriculum development, professionallearning planning and execution, research and overall implementation strategy and postimplementation analysis. Defined hardware/software implementation and deployment plans toinsure “just-in-time” training methodologies. Designed, developed, and implemented marketing and sales campaigns writing creative copy forcatalogs, brochures, and sales presentations. Authored and delivered presentations for national and regional education technology conferences including NCCE, IntegratED, Accelerate, CUE, and others on the use of tablets and other handheld devices in the 1:1/BYOD classroom with interactive whiteboards, and other classroom technologies. Standardized training materials, courses, and catalogs for professional learning team. Developed blended-learning programs using the Schoology and Edmodo LMS for K12 clients. Led weekly webinars for both internal consulting team and higher-education/enterprise clients on the use of collaboration technologies.

Presented at national and regional education technology conferences in WA (NCCE ’12), OR (NCCE ’13, IntegratED ’13), AK (ASTE ’12), HI (HSOTF ’12), and CA (ISTE ’13, CUE ’13) Evaluated K12 target market and proposed marketing strategies; creating messaging and sales materials for use across the North American sales channel. Collaborated with product managers to provide guidance on product enhancements for SMART Notebook software, Bridgit, Extreme Collaboration, SMART Table, and SMART LightRaise interactive projectors. Supported the SMART Exemplary Educator professional learning network by providing monthly webinars to increase teachers’ knowledge and application of the SMART Board, SMART Table, and other SMART solutions.
