I am currently a Senior Project Manager with a policy research nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. Most recently I was working in Grants with a housing organization DC and before that, humanitarian organizations based in Iraq. I received my Master's in Applied Anthropology from University of Maryland in 2016 and my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2014. Through my anthropological research, I developed a passion for cultural awareness in human rights and development. I conducted research on this topic in The Gambia, West Africa and Malta.
