• Managed a seven person staff raising $10 million annually from alumni, parents and friends.• Served as the development liaison for one of the College’s research institutes, partnering with the faculty directors to identify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors and secure five and six figure gifts through face to face meetings.• Oversaw a portfolio of 100+ prospects and solicited numerous gifts from $100,000 to $250,000. Traveled regularly to San Francisco, Seattle, Sacramento and San Diego to develop and maintain strong relationships with supporters.• Actively solicited donors for the Named Alumni Fund Scholarship ($10,000 unrestricted gift), presenting each prospect with personalized proposals for this opportunity. Increased the number of individuals contributing to this program by more than 10%. • Collaborated with the President, Vice-President for Development, and Major Gifts colleagues to ensure that all major gifts prospects, including Trustees, were solicited for annual gifts.• Increased annual alumni donations in 2006-2007 by 8.5% to $5.15 million, the second highest total in College history. • Doubled membership in the College’s leadership giving societies through personal visits, increased volunteer participation in the fundraising effort, and strengthened marketing materials that increased the profile of these donor groups.• Created and implemented recruitment strategies that doubled the number of fundraising volunteers, including the establishment of young alumni and parent fundraising committees.• Enhanced development communications by targeting messages to constituents based on academic majors, participation in varsity sports, graduating classes and other areas of interest.• Reported annual giving results and strategies regularly to the College's Board of Trustees.
