Rebecca has been championing the use agile service design and prototyping to tackle complex public services since she worked to re-design Special Education Needs and Disabilities Services: realising that a typical waterfall project approach was hindering rather than helping. Since then, Rebecca has been leading and coaching organisation to adopt agile approaches to design and deliver change as we as to manage day-to-day operations. Working with a variety of teams from social workers in a highly pressured children’s multi-agency safeguarding hub to a hospital’s rapid response teams caring for older people, even rail maintenance crews in the Australian outback. Using her experience and knowledge to encourage innovation and fresh thinking amongst both leaders and frontline workers, often re-igniting their desires to design new and creative ways to meet customer needs.
