Lead our Grid Interconnection team in our efforts to study the fesability of our projects and manage the formal application process for connecting those projects to the electric grid.

· Lead the Southeast Development team in the development of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects in the Southeast USA Market.· Manage site campaigns and landowner outreach to identify suitable locations for utility-scale solar projects. · Negotiate land purchase and/or lease contracts with the landowners of prospective projects.· Manage environmental and technical vendors in the completion of project due diligence.· Manage the development of tax incentive strategies with local governments to support project economics.· Manage project development budget from proposals to contracting to deliverable receipt (and review) and invoicing.· Maintain project development status, risks, and construction schedules to provide the most up-to-date information to the business development team as they work to secure power purchase agreements with energy off-takers.

· Lead Project Engineer for multi-discipline design projects with cross-department interfaces· Applied electrical codes and standards to create design packages for site modifications, which included the development of calculations and engineering drawings.· Coordinated with site implementers, contractors, and equipment vendors to implement design change packages. · Maintained ETAP electrical power system models and analytical documentation for the nuclear fleet. This work included manipulating the models, running various case studies, and formally documenting the analytical results.· Oversaw ETAP user access control, supported user questions, oversaw electrical system analysis, dispositioned software error reports, and lead software version upgrades.· Improved efficiency in using an in-house ETAP report creator. This included re-writing VBA code to reduce the manual entry of information and to add functionality to produce multiple reports at a time automatically. This automation reduced the time required by the user to interact with the report creator from hours to minutes. · Supported the interpretation of NERC/SERC testing and transmission interface requirements and maintained documentation supporting evidence of compliance. · Participated in the Emergency Response Organization as an ENN Communicator. This role is responsible for communicating plant site status to local agencies via written and verbal communication. This is a fast-paced position with strict regulatory requirements that dictate the frequency and timeliness of communications.

· Project lead for re-baselining nuclear plant Fire Safe Shutdown analysis to meet latest regulatory standards. Responsibilities include coordinating database conversions, technical reviews, project briefings to management, monthly status reviews, quarterly project status presentations, scope planning, schedule development, risk planning, and budget reviews.· Acted as a mentor and trained new engineers on using single-line, elementary, and wiring diagrams. · Developed and maintained boolean logic models to predict the behavior of plant systems in response to component failures.· Circuit analysis team lead for an industry peer review of a plant Fire PRA risk model. · Interpreted regulations and worked with regulatory affairs to ensure that risk-informed programs complied.· Communicated with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other regulatory agencies to address inspection questions while maintaining a positive working relationship.· Administrator of software applications used to develop and analyze boolean models. Work included maintaining the user population, working closely with IT on upgrades, and scripting database conversions from Microsoft Access to SQL.

· Provided technical and process leadership to a team of engineers and analysts. · Utilized electrical drawings (elementary, wiring, single line, raceway) to analyze the impacts of electrical cable failures on control circuits containing electromechanical relays for valves, pumps, motors, and breakers. · Completed breaker coordination reviews for equipment included within the plant response models.· Manipulated table relationships and VBA code in the circuit analysis input database to add additional features that improved documentation and analysis efficiency. · Worked with the plant response model development team to troubleshoot circuit analysis-related questions to support meeting project deadlines.· Communicated project progress both written and verbally to various levels of management.
