ResearcherKyungpook National University Aug 2018 - Feb 2021Buk-Gu, Daegu, Korea- As a Computer Science and Engineering master’s research student, I participated in research projects in the Intelligent Signal Processing Lab.- Among the many projects we worked on, the Digital Companion project was key where as a part of it, we worked on continuous Human Activity Recognition via onbody sensors like IMU sensors in a Phone or smartwatch.- I drove this project where we leveraged machine learning and other AI techniques to detect human actions from raw sensor data and recognize activities with the aim of predicting a person’s behavior. - I implemented a number of software building blocks that allowed our team to continuously experiment and expand the project implementation.- Built the iSPL Dataset for continous HAR.- Conceptulized the iSPLInception End-to-End HAR DL model which made it easier to perform HAR.- I also worked on an Autonomous Vehicle project where we used LiDAR, Radar and Camera sensor for perception and DL for control. -
