Design, Implement and Maintain networks at all offices throughout the organization in the US, UK and China. Responsibilities include LAN/WAN architecture and design including VPN, Firewall / Security, VoIP / Video, WAN optimization, Routing, Switching, and Wireless in a completely Cisco environment. Recent projects include:-Integrated Cisco Webex and Cisco Webex Teams into our on-premise Cisco UC environment-Deployed Cisco Telepresence Server 410v and Cisco Telepresence Conductor along with several new room based endpoints and videophones, integrated w/ Jabber and Webex / CMR Cloud-Deployed Cisco FirePOWER IPS/NGFW-Redesign of main office network core, distribution and access layers-Configured and deployed equipment to connect China office back to main office-Deployed Riverbed Steelhead appliances between China office and main office -Design and build DR network in colo facility connected back to main office-Implemented new Network Management System to monitor equipment, archive configurations, provide reporting, etc.-Network documentation, including Visio drawings, change control documents, procedural documentation-Upgraded Cisco Unified Collaboration environment, deployed Jabber on-premise with persistent chat and integrated with Webex Cloud service- Deployed Cisco Identity Service Engine in a multi-tenant office space

Responsible for managing a state-wide network in support of K-12 schools, Universities, Colleges, Hospitals, Libraries, State and Municipal Government, agencies and other non-profit entities in the State of Rhode Island. Primarily focused on supporting network services including Internet, transport, and network security. Work with OSHEAN membership to investigate new service offerings that will benefit the entire OSHEAN community.
