About Rob Skelly

I am a software developer with a life-long interest in geography, science, the environment, maps and creative and useful representations of space and time. I started my career as a web and Flash developer, building high-traffic multimedia applications for big companies in US, then returned to Victoria, BC to complete my degree in geomatics (geography and computer science) so I could redirect my skills towards the subjects I am most passionate about.I am currently working on modelling hydrology in the Peace-Athabasca Delta with W-CIRC, working on remote sensing projects.I recently finished a master of science involving predictive terrain following for remote sensing UAVs.
