Software Development Manager in the Vendor Payments Systems team based out of Amazon, Hyderabad. Provided mission critical payment services used by teams across Amazon to pay vendors on time. The system automatically provided invoice matching, detected anomalies. The system provided business workflows for vendors and Amazon’s Global Financial Services team to get payments done to vendors on time and with accuracy. The system has successfully processed billions of dollars of payments to hundreds of thousands of Amazon vendors, worldwide.The role involved leading a team of engineers, development managers and product managers to build and enable the rollout of payment services worldwide.

Principal Engineer and Product Architect on the Bladelogic Server Automation (BSA) product suite. BSA enables enterprise customers to manage servers in their datacentre efficiently. Technically responsible for BSA Virtualization management that managed policies across virtualisation software and Patch Management that provided a unified patching solution across a complex operating systems environment. Worked on the initial bootstrapping team that built the first version of BMC Cloud Lifecycle Manager (CLM), a product to manage your infrastructure across public and private clouds. This employment was split into two phases. Initially at Bladelogic from 2005 to 2008. BMC acquired Bladelogic in 2008 so the employment shifted to BMC, post-acquisition.

Senior Software Engineer for Global Storage Manager (GSM), a product suite to manage hybrid storage infrastructure. GSM enables large enterprises to easily visualize and manage multi-vendor, multi-site storage environments from a central location. GSM provides a consolidated view of the entire infrastructure and extensive reporting to dramatically improve asset control and reduce management costs. Primary responsibilities at Storability was as a developer in the reporting and analytics team, building insights for better storage utilization.

Co-founded Aviz Software, a data visualization solutions company based out of Pune, India. Aviz provided outsourcing services on data visualization, user interface design and consulting and end-to-end UI outsourcing services to IT companies. Responsible for leading solutions team, delivering projects and managing strategic relationships with key customers.

Software Engineer in the R&D division of Tech Mahindra. The principal area of research was in information visualization, specifically in the area of graph theory. This was applied to help reverse engineer, understand and manage legacy application code that MBT maintained. Helped built a product GraVi (Graph Visualization) which could be used as a component to automatically declutter and layout force directed graphs.
