Within the Antibody Research & Technology unit at the Genmab Research Centre based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, we aim to create the medicines of tomorrow. I lead our antibody format development efforts, where we marry rigorous science with playful protein engineering to address unsolved therapeutic challenges. Our team applies biomolecular and structural insights to create novel therapeutic antibody platform technologies, that we test using a variety of in vitro assays largely using human cells. We work closely with Genmab colleagues to ensure in vivo activity and validate quality aspects that are essential to antibody-based drug development.
