Managed portfolio of large and complex Government Contracts for selected Business Areas. Engaged in the entire life cycle of the Contract, from the Bid and Proposal stage, Negotiations, Contract Execution and final Closeout. The organization I led was responsible for the identification of qualified supply sources for the Trinity Wind Tower Division which met the divisions material and supply requirements. Focus was on Suppliers who met our stringent Quality, Schedule and Price requirements. Managed the procurement and material organizations at four manufacturing sites.

Provided guidance in the areas of Operational Strategies, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Negotiations, Distribution, Customer Fulfillment and Funding requirements to companies.

Acted as liaison between the Program Office and Procurement Organization to ensure program targets were achieved with respect to Supplier quality, schedule and costs. Identified and mitigated Supplier risks.

Responsibilities included the management of Purchasing, Planning, Inventory, Shipping/Receiving for the Grand Prairie, Texas operations. Insured organization was completely engaged and supporting the various manufacturing lines.

Manager of Material and Supply Chain Management (01/2000 -10/2006) Responsible for the leadership and performance of Material & Supply Chain Management including Procurement, Subcontracts, Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving. Managed organization of sixty (60) professionals supporting an annual procurement spend of approximately $100 Million.Manager of Subcontracts (10/1998 – 01/2000) Provided leadership and oversight to Subcontract Management organization. Responsibilities included fact finding, supplier negotiations and procurement of high value and complex items in support of various program requirements.Manager of Purchasing (05/1995 – 10/1998)Responsible for all Purchasing functions supporting customer and company requirements including fab, component and MRO.
