Used a scrum process and became the QA person for two scrum teams testing the changes as they went in, I helped the product managers with designing a better application, and I also contributed to the Javascript and Python test automation framework for gold testing. The platform was based on ReactJS running on Electron. • Designed a suite of custom test parts to test out specific algorithms in our file generation software and directed test technicians to print parts and verified the parts printed with high quality.• We had different software packages that controlled different lines of printers and management software that managed large groups of printers. The software allowed customization of standard STL files and converted them into code the printer could understand. A big part of the challenge was that there were so many materials, slice sizes, and settings to account for, and each of these, along with changes to the underlying algorithms, could materially affect part quality, build speed, and material usage.
