I was research assistant to the IDRC-funded project observing the drivers of disaster from a gender (GESI) lens. Reviewed disaster policies of Nepal from gender and inclusion perspective.

Observed the marginalized Danuwar community in Melamchi, Sindhupalchok by staying with them for a month. I went with the research question of how gender norms are passed from mothers to daughters in this community.
