About Radu Nicolae

I'm a third-year Honours Computer Science student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, currently Cum Laude. I organize and coordinate core bachelor's courses for large cohorts of students. As part of atLarge Research Team, I conduct scientific research on Massivizing Computer Systems, towards making (distributed) computer systems scalable, reliable, and performant, focusing on the datacenter industry.I started my CS journey in 2018, learning programming, building small programs, and developing websites. I've developed medical applications at Oxaigen, conducted research with @Large Research x VU Amsterdam, achieved top placements in international robotics competitions, and completed a Deep Learning Specialization at Stanford.Strong in both technical and soft skills, such as leadership and communication, I'm open to new collaborations and eager to learn more.
