I am a registered nurse that just wants to help people.I was born in Yokosuka, Japan but grew up in San Diego, California. Being the son of a Navy Chief allowed me to study in different places from San Diego to Philippines. I acquired my Bachelors' Degree in Nursing in 2018 and I am currently working in SHARP Chula Vista in the Heart Surgery progressive care unit.My first job was in a skilled nursing facility in San Diego during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was there where I learned important skills such as delegation, time-management, and leadership. I brought these skills with me when I was hired to work at the progressive care unit in SHARP. While the job itself can be stressful, it made me a more calm and confident nurse. Working in SHARP has further honed my communication and leadership skills through my co-chair experience in the Unit Practice Council and precepting new hire nurses on the floor. At this point, I continue to hone my skills on the PCU floor and further my education in San Diego State for my masters' degree in hopes of one day becoming a nurse practitioner.
