Few achievements as a RTI activist and Social Reformer are listed below---On the basis of my historic contention for NO hike in tariff, supported by detailed Facts & Figures, I was able to convince Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission for NO hike in electricity tariff for Financial year 13-14.As a result, Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission was pleased to passed an electricity tariff order for FY 2013-14 without- any hike means no extra burden on consumers.This is a historical achievement in the history of Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission.My historic contention for NO hike in tariff, supported by detailed Facts & Figures, was covered by leading daily ‘AMAR UJALA’ on page 2 in Dehradun Edition of 26 Feb 2013 and all other leading newspapers alsoOn my continuous efforts for two years, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd raised death compensation from Rs 35K to Rs 1 Lacs & speed up compensation disbursement , in 2013, for pending cases since last 10 years.Took the initiative of creating awareness and was first to organize a press conference against UNLAWFUL & BIASED decision of UTTARAKHAND LOKAYUKTA.Exposed huge power theft (to a tune to 500 crores per year) by around 10,000 government officials & officers from various departments of Uttarakhand Government mainly Police, District Administration, JAL Sansathan etc.Exposed corrupt practices in the office of Principal Auditor General Of Uttarakhand which is a part of CAG.My sincere concern for scams & huge corruption, worth more than 1000 crores, were acknowledged by Hon'ble Speaker of Uttarakhand Assembly Mr Govind Singh Kunjwal and Leader opposition Mr Ajay Bhatt. Both of them, wrote letters to Hon'ble CM to take stern action.

I cleared Combined Pre-Medical Test of Uttar Pradesh and got offer letter for admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) but I opted to leave.To satisfy my teaching instinct, I opted for Teaching as a Physics tutor to 10+2 and Pre medical entrance and IITJEE aspirants from 1989 till 1996.
