Pair Digital was started by a multi-disciplined team of independent contractors who worked together in the Government Digital Service to transition more than 300 government agency websites to GOV.UK. We passionately believe all digital products should be designed around user needs, built quickly and easily, updated and released quickly, and that projects should be delivered with a relentless focus on customer value.

With Dot Meet Dot I help software development teams be empowered and responsive to deliver high quality applications and also provide digital consulting for clients ranging from small businesses to FTSE 100 companies as well as government departments and charities. Clients have included Government Digital Service (Cabinet Office), DMG Media and Save the Children.

At Yomdel I co-wrote the business plan and project managed the launch of the business from concept to live operations. I produced the technical on-boarding process for new clients and worked with the CEO on development, innovation and technology requirements as well as to recruit a credible and experienced investor and Commercial Director.

At Blue Cake I worked with VisitEngland, Office of Fair Trading and Thomson Reuters to produce engaging, timely and informative digital content (web and social media). I also worked with agencies including SapientNitro and Four One to advise on digital strategy and delivered website design and development projects for small to medium enterprises.

As project manager at Serco I did some business analysis for a project to deliver online diagnostic tools for business owners and managed a number of projects that delivered best practice guidance - including video case studies - working with successful entrepreneurs to offer advice to UK businesses.

As convergence manager at Serco I co-ordinated 18 stakeholder organisations around the country and managed an editorial team at Thomson Reuters to deliver a transformation programme which led to increased efficiency in government spending and simplified online access to regional support services for businesses.

I introduced Web 2.0 functionality to England's official tourist board website, created a strategy for web TV and managed a monthly series of short films working with England’s regional tourist boards and other destination management organisations. The role included line management of the editorial and CRM teams. These were responsible for content updates on Enjoy England’s website, newsletters, social media channels, WAP site, SMS response campaigns and for distribution of content to third party mobile sites as well as management of the UX on Enjoy England’s online shop.

Working across various markeitng roles at VisitBritain between 2001 and 2007 I was responsible for production and development of content, training and developing staff, developing and sharing SEO guidelines - and ensuring they were used by editors - as well as scoping, producing and maintaining a portfolio of websites for 30 overseas markets.
