Throughout my employment I have gained all-round accounting and financial experience. As a Certified Practicing Accountant, I have honed my skills in management accounting, budgeting, systems, audit, processes, insurance, tax, accounts payable and financial reporting. Most recently, I have been working as the Coordinator of Strategic Finance at the City of Perth to lead the business partnering team, and provide budgeting and financial management reporting services to support decision-making across the City. I am the systems administrator for the City’s ERP, Technology One, and my advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI have been vital in supporting data-driven decision-making and streamlining financial processes, delivering insightful financial analysis to drive organisational success.Innovation is at the heart of my approach to financial management. My ability to develop and introduce process improvement strategies has been instrumental in enhancing financial operations and supporting the achievement of organisational goals. When employed as a Project Accountant at The City of Perth, I successfully led the development of innovative systems and processes, including the implementation of a new chart of accounts, the optimisation of finance operations and reporting in various business areas. Furthermore, I am dedicated to educating and empowering stakeholders to maintain effective financial control within their areas.Since 2010, I have held supervisory and leadership positions, fostering motivation and skill development within my teams.
