Ik ben afgestudeerd aan de opleiding Klinische Technologie van de Technische Universiteit Delft. Na het afronden van mijn Bachelor ben ik doorgegaan met de Master "Imaging & Intervention". Tijdens het eerste jaar van de Master is er veel verdiepende stof behandeld met betrekking tot medische beeldvorming. Onderwerpen die zoal behandeld werden, zijn MRI, CT, Molecular imaging, Image guided interventions en computer assisted reconstructive surgery. Naast de medische beeldvorming wordt er ook een focus gelegd op programmeren met Python en MatLab, waarbij beeldverwerking (al dan niet met behulp van Artificial Intelligence) de hoofdrol speelt. Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als een enthousiast persoon die erg leergierig is in dit speciale en uiterst indrukwekkende vakgebied. Het spreekt mij aan om binnen enkele jaren te werken in de klinische praktijk waarbij onderzoek en innovatie voor de huidige technieken centraal staan.
