DGGF is set up by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help Dutch entrepreneurs realise their international ambitions in emerging and developing countries. CEI Africa seeks systemic solutions to accelerate access to energy.As a Technical Assistance Manager, I support fund managers, other financial institutions, and companies to enhance their own operations and performance and increase their impact. This support is either through tailored trajectories or in-house designed programs.

In my current role at GOGLA, I am helping to increase investment flow into the sector by helping to give investors the tools and knowledge to invest and companies the tools to enhance their performance or reach their financial close. I am responsible for the following within GOGLA: 1. Standards and Metrics; promote new standards and metrics with the overall goal to unlock additional financing i.e. PAYGo PERFORM (unit economics, portfolio quality, etc.), Accounting, Credit Risk, etc. and promote the adoption and harmonization of these standards and metrics around investor and companies. 2. Market insights; establish a mechanism to collect data around the standards and metrics, and promote sector transparency. 3. Networking and knowledge exchange; thought leadership and knowledge exchange around new or lesser known financial instruments and services, and knowledge exchange around company performance and profitability.

Throughout my time as a Junior Consultant, I provided consulting services for the VU Medical Centre and Liberty GlobalFor one of my missions, I designed and implemented a robotic software to make external labor hiring process automatic, which resulted into reduced operating costs and workload by 60 percent.Moreover, I evaluated different design options for a new MSP software and led organisational restructuring by creating more operational processes to ensure accuracy of financial processes and key knowledge. One of the key features of my mission was to interface with various departments and to streamline communication lines between them to ensure accountability and clarity of outcomes throughout organisation.

Based upon research, I provided strategic recommendations to target, and attract investors for an operating lease solution to fund innovative ideas and digital transformation, leading to increased funding ability of 20 percent for the next 3 years from 2016.
