Key Achievements:Exchange 2010 to Office 365 migration for approx. 40,000 mailboxes. This included extensive liaison with other parts of the business and project team for coordination.Blackberry Enterprise migration from BES 5.4 to Blackberry Cloud Services for Office 365 for approx. 2000 Blackberry users.Stabilisation and improvement of Existing large Enterprise On-Premise Exchange 2010 environment. This comprised of circa 200 Exchange servers across 4 major Datacentres (2 in UK, 2 in US) and several satellite offices. In addition to around 20 Blackberry Enterprise Servers. The solution included adding additional VMWare Hosts and Storage migration to faster SAN. The system was regularly unstable and unreliable prior to this work I completed.Technical lead on migrating remaining Application based mailboxes from legacy Exchange 2003 system to Exchange 2010 then later to O365. This required extensive Application testing and coordination with Application owners.Introduction of McAfee MX-Logic cloud based anti-spam/anti-virus solution, replacing legacy Postini environment. This included testing and reconfiguration of several very high profile company systems that send out mailshots in excess of three million e-mails per Month to the company’s customers and send directly to the cloud.Architecture and configuration of outbound mail relay (used by over 200 Internal Applications) from Exchange 2003 to an Exchange 2010 Edge based solution. Migration of archived mail from Enterprise Vault to O365 archive mailbox for individual users that qualified to retain their archive. Approx. 1000 users.

This was a large enterprise design for over 5000 desktops. It consisted of 1 CAS role, 2* Primary roles, 2 Management roles and 5 Distribution point roles. The system is used for Hardware/ Software Inventory, Package/Program installation using packaged applications, and OS Image (Windows 7) deployment using MDT 2012.• New System Centre Configuration Manager 2012 system for Hermes Delivery. This solution was an enterprise design for over 2000 desktops and 300 servers. It consisted of a CAS role, Primary role, Management Role, SQL role and multiple distribution points. The system similar to above is used for Hardware/ Software Inventory, Package/Program installation, using packaged applications and OS Image (Windows 7) deployment using MDT 2012.• New physical Exchange 2010 installation for Makro Wholesalers. This consisted of a high availability solution incorporating a 2 node DAG, CAS array for approx. 1500 mailboxes.• System Centre Configuration Manager 2012 proof of concept system for Manchester Airport. This system utilised 2 Site servers (Primary and SQL) and was used initially for Endpoint protection and software package distribution.• Migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 for Howarth Timber. This was a high availability solution incorporating a 2 node DAG, CAS array for approx. 1000 mailboxes.• Migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 for Wilson James. This was a high availability solution incorporating a 2 node DAG, CAS array for approx. 1500 mailboxes.
