Working with several Blue Chip Companies I am carrying out Standards Audits across the South West of the UK. Unannounced I am working with the Retail operators key staff whilst on site to audit their standards of presentation and processes when dealing with Business and Retail Customers. Making use of my considerable experience the role seeks to work with Retailers helping them maintain or improve the experience they give their clients. Carrots not sticks!Whilst the role is similar to a mystery shopper it is far more than that and works with the clients giving them valuable feedback on the day, but also allowing them to rectify any deficient underperforming areas through a plan of action.I have not listed the companies I am currently working for as the role requires anonymity.

Representing 7 notable Brands across Cornwall through 7 outlets, the role is primarily aimed at getting to those businesses that due to work, time and travel constraints may otherwise not use us.Although a narrow Peninsula, the road infrastructure is not conducive with short travel times, and as a long standing Family Business we want to ensure that we reach a wide an audience as possible.By taking our expertise into the County we hope to rekindle old relationships and build new ones by offering a 'One Stop Shop' for the wider Business community. Selling as we do Cars, Vans and Pick-ups we can offer a vehicle for most needs, and with a wide range of Finance options including Contract Hire the aim is take the stress out of vehicle purchase and assist business of all sizes run their fleets.

Working with the owners and Managers at the successful Peugeot Dealership, I am working specifically with The Truck Centre with the objective of giving the department greater focus. Our long term objective is to raise the profile of the Truck and Van Centre and specifically offer a wider Manufacturer and price range to local customers. A well established Family business in its 80th year the Truck and Van Centre currently supplies Peugeot, Citroen, Hyundai, Isuzu and Great Wall LCV's.I will also be looking at the current processes used within the centre, its stock management, local advertising and PR.3 Months in and we have just recorded the most profitable and best unit result in the history of the department. Teamwork and hard work has shown its potential, still fighting fires but constantly looking at improving our process and modus operandi.

Working with a very progressive, profitable and traditional Kitchen Manufacturer my role has been created to assist them expand their business to a wider audience. The Company makes both traditional 'lay-on' kitchens and also 'Bespoke, hand built kitchens'. Constructed with the latest machinery they build their own units with a huge variety of differing styles and finishes. Impressive customer service and back up ensures a high repeat purchase rate from Contractors and Studios alike.I have full expectations of enhancing their all ready considerable satisfied customer base through the use of the latest technological advances whilst retaining their ‘traditional customer focussed approach’. I am currently working on upgrading their existing website and introducing new processes to improve efficiency.

Took over the management of the conversion of a former Hotel into 14 luxury apartments, removing an unsuitable Contractor and replacing them with a Builder who completed the refurbishment within budget. Project managed the building of 41 no. new Timber frame 2,3 & 4 bed luxury Villas and Cottages. On site management of all Trades from Ground-works, through wet trades to finishing to an exceptional standard.Created an Amenity area with picnic and Play area.Developed a good working relationship with all suppliers produced a quality project on budget.Also obtained licence to drive a rough terrain 'Tele-handler, (Fork lift) a Dumper and over 10 Ton Tracked Excavator.

Working for a wide range of Blue Chip Car Manufacturer's as Clients I worked on projects around the World with Audi, Bentley, BMW, Honda and Volvo. I also worked with BMW, Harley, Honda, Triumph and KTM Motor Cycle Manufacturers in Europe.Having worked in Ireland and Russia with Volvo and travelled the world whilst doing an assessment of the Bentley Franchise dealer network, I feel that I have a vast depth of experience in differing markets. With a unique perspective having worked for both the retail and manufacturing side of the business I also have a keen understanding of the needs of both the manufacturer and the retailer.
