Responsible for all Operational and Commercial departments across the Weymouth Cluster.

Responsible for all the Commercial departments across the Weymouth SEA LIFE Cluster including Welcome, Retail, Food & Beverage, Pirate Adventure Golf, Games and Photography. Key parts of the role include:- Working with a team of 3 direct reports and 30 indirect reports- Supporting development of reports through one to ones and personal development plans- Working closely with 3rd party partners to ensure consistency across the business and maximising opportunities- Part of the Senior Leadership Team in the cluster, supporting creation and implementation of strategies and action plans for cluster operations, growth and direction- Ensuring Health & Safety and Hygiene culture within the cluster- Responsible for P&L accounts for all commercial departments across the cluster looking at Cost of Sales, Gross Profit Margins and EBITDA- Completing analysis of sales, trends and guest mix to identify and implement commercial opportunities- Through review of KPI's ensure all commercial departments are striving to exceed guests expectations and enhance guest experience- Responsible for commercial variable staffing and turnover/profit budgeting process- Successful completion of the Merlin Leadership Transition programme- Galaxy 'Superuser' enabling ticket system setup and maintenance across the cluster and supporting other sites where possible

Responsible for leading and motivating a team of 4 direct reports, 2 indirect reports and a seasonal team of over 100 seasonal staff delivering in the departments focus areas of Health and Safety, Customer Service and Ride utilisation.Key parts of the role included: - Ensuring Health & Safety was at the forefront of the operation and in line with legislation (HSG 175)- Ensuring area performed in key focus areas of guest experience, ride Utilisation and presentation standards- Outlining and delivering visions for area to provide direction, responsibility, ownership and consistency - Building key working relationships with other departments most importantly Engineering- Leading and creating the 2013 Rides and Attractions budget of over £1.4 million- Lead the operational delivery of the 2011 ride project for the Park, Storm Surge.- Regularly undertook duty park management roles
