Worked as a shift process operator for Philips 66 I'm currently working within the FCC unit of a large refinery.One of my fundamental roles is to promote and practice safe systems of work and am heavily involved in variuos safety initiatives we have at P66 . My daily tasks include the monitoring of various bits of equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors etc .A large proportion of my role is to prepare equipment for maintenance in compliance with the ptw system . also with having trainees coming into the company all the time I have a significant involvement in their development .This is a particular area were I would like to progress my career.
