Commercial & Shipping - Economic Evaluation and Business ExcellenceAs a Senior Commercial Analyst in the Portfolio Analysis team I produce economics that support short term and spot LNG sales of over 12 MTPA. The economics provide pricing guidance for the marketing team and covers the entire 77 MTPA Qatargas LNG portfolio of multiple joint ventures each with individual sales and fiscal agreements. In addition I contribute to the LNG Shipping Simulation study that models and optimizes the shipping fleet requirement for the upcoming NFE expansion project. I also cover ad-hoc requests for pricing, optimization, swaps, production valuation and shipping optimization for chartering and backhauls. Rated as a “Qatargas Role Model” in recent management review.

Consulting as a third-party contractor on short term contract I was responsible for developing accurate, concise and fit for purpose analysis to support the sales, marketing & shipping of the Woodside Energy multi-billion dollar operated LNG, oil & domestic gas business. I represented Woodside Energy in negotiations with major international buyers, participating in formal LNG SPA commercial processes. I developed analysis to underpin new LNG Bunkering business & international LNG-to-Power projects. Also responsible for researching and providing up to date LNG market information.

As part of the Strategy & Planning team I support commercial decision making across the entire WA & NT portfolio of world class oil & gas projects. These include upstream & downstream, operated and non-operated multi-billion dollar projects in both domestic oil and gas and export LNG.In my role as Commercial Analyst I produce deterministic and probabilistic economic evaluations which deliver key insights to senior management. I assist with the preparation of recommendations on business opportunities and provide analytical advice of a high standard.

Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of the commercial and business aspects of Santos NSW gas assets and integrated developments. I provide rigorous financial and economic evaluations, asset planning and analysis to enable effective and efficient decision making with respect to gas commercialisation, asset optimisation, capital allocation and planning, investment and divestment opportunities.

Responsible for the analysis and optimisation of energy portfolio positions, strategies and tactics. I managed the development and execution of the long term financial model that supported the decision making for the Braemar power station. I also prepared, reported on and presented models & forecasts of energy demand, pool prices, available generation, power station revenues, contribution margins and energy risks.

Responsible for the design, development and documentation of the financial & correspondence modules of the student management enterprise application.

As lead developer for the $15m+ Trading & Risk Management Solution (TRMS) project for Ergon Energy, I participated in requirements analysis and vendor appraisal stages until the project was discontinued due to the future sale of Ergon Retail. After which, I consulted to the middle office team to deliver trading and risk management solutions.
