My career in training began in the Employment Service when I attended an excellent train the trainer programme. Since then I have expanded my knowledge and skills through regular delivery and further attendance on trainer development programmes.In my career I have been involved in all stages of the development cycle for individuals, departments and organisations. For example for Zurich I developed a comprehensive training programme to help a field sales force team meet their key performance indicators. This included not only the training but also the project communication, engaging senior manager support, delivery of line manager training to be coaches, coaching visits and changes to the sales support processes.I have completed the training needs analysis, designed, written and delivered numerous training courses for a wide variety of organisations and at all levels. I have a great deal of experience of running training projects both as an internal consultant and externally as a director of Different Planet Training.One of my main training strengths is my creativity. I can invent different ways to get points across depending on the level and expertise of the audience. I use this inventiveness to create original exercises, which delegates find fun, but more importantly help to reinforce the main messages of the training in a memorable way.For Emerge I have been working closely with BAE Systems and have been project managing, designing and delivering three training programmes on their Graduate Development Scheme. I have worked with a wide variety of organisations over the years these have included; PWC, BAE Systems, Zurich, Wyeth, Paradigm, Channel 4, BBC, Disney, Dell, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, AA, NHS Direct, and The Discovery Network to name but a few.
