Endpoint Engineer
Drive end-to-end daily operations of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, ensuring the availability of all applications across four on-premise distribution points and a cloud DP. Orchestrate seamless deployment of new software, revisions, and scripts to optimize system functionality. Architect, test, and deploy intricate Intune device configurations and settings, encompassing autopilot, group tags, application deployments, universal printer deployment, configuration profiles, and autopatch, enhancing operational efficiency. Restructure user and group memberships in Active Directory, removing domain admin access, both inherited and direct to bolster security and compliance measures (RBAC).• Successfully migrated over 120 printers to Microsoft's Universal Print (UP) service, streamlining print job submission for on-premise printers without the need for VPN software or print servers. Removed approximately half of these devices from on-premises print server dependency.• Conducted root cause analysis and utilized PowerShell and other tools to create a working solution.• Enhanced efficiency and centralized print management by consolidating 17 geographically dispersed print servers into a unified Azure print server instance.• Established role-based access control for three global regions—AMER, EMEA, and APAC—facilitating enhanced support capabilities by enabling teams to access assets, applications, policies, and users specific to their respective zones while serving as an Intune Administrator.
