Rob Beach is a seasoned marketing strategist and communications expert with over 20 years of experience in product, small business, and not-for-profit marketing. Since 2017, he has served as the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Vice President for Communications, previously leading the organization’s digital transformation as Director of Digital Communications.Before joining the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Rob transformed Annapolis Performance Sailing into a leading multi-channel retailer of racing sailboat parts and accessories during the early dotcom era. He designed print catalogs, websites, and integrated marketing campaigns, establishing himself as an expert in the recreational marine industry and internet retail.Rob holds degrees in Political Science and Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where he was also a member of the sailing team. He is a board member of the Severn River Association, a Master Watershed Steward, a member of the Public Relations Society of America, and an avid angler, sailor, biker, pickleballer, and father. He lives near the Severn River in Annapolis, Maryland, with his wife Meredith and their two children.
