Throughout my service with Northamptonshire Police I demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, and have consistently shown the highest standards of dedication and integrity. My approach to investigations is professional, thorough and detailed. Since 2020 I have developed Force Policy and Procedures relating to the acquisition and analysis of vehicle digital data. I am trained in the deployment of BERLA iVe and in other techniques to recover vehicle data. Since 2017 I have been a Digital Media Investigator (DMI) with significant experience in Wi-Fi networks and Telecommunications data. I have an interest in Cloud data and analysis of mobile devices. My positive attitude and flexibility mean that I enjoy team working, but my personal resilience means I am capable of working independently and with minimal supervision. I have worked on numerous high level investigations, providing digital strategies to SIO’s and securing evidence and intelligence. In 2020 I qualified as an Investigator Practitioner and Associate member of the Institute of Cyber Digital Professionals (ICDIP) and the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec). I have a significant background in Internet Intelligence & Investigation (III) having received my first training in Open Source techniques in 2009 when I was working as a FIO in EMSOU-Special Branch. Since then I have attended further Advanced III training and was responsible for developing OSI capabilities within Special Branch, including use of COSAIN. I have maintained Security Clearance (SC) and Management Vetting (MV) status since 2005. My current vetting runs to 2025 and 2027 respectively. With over 12 years experience of working in Counter Terrorism Policing as an Intelligence Officer I was trained as a Joint Intelligence Group (JIG) Officer, JIG FCP Officer, Special Branch Intelligence Cell (SBIC) Officer, Fusion Cell Officer and also as a CT Forensic Management Team (FMT) Officer. I also worked as a CHIS handler and Family Liaison Officer. I believe strongly in Continued Professional Development and also in mentorship. I have trained as a mentor and assisted numerous colleagues to develop their own skills and capabilities. I have a positive attitude to change and so, although a little nervous as to what the future may hold, I am excited to soon start a new chapter in my working life, and look forward to new opportunities and adventures.
