Dr. Robert Bell is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Telo Therapeutics, Inc.Dr. Bell has over a decade of research experience in cancer genetics, molecular and cellular biology, and early stage drug discovery and pharmacology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a PhD from the University of California (UCSF). While serving as CEO of Telo, Dr. Bell has assembled and led a team of drug development experts spanning medicinal chemistry, DMPK, toxicology, pharmacology, and CMC. He has secured over $7M in investments from foundations, high net worth individuals, and venture capital firms and led an early stage screening collaboration with GSK to help establish Telo’s core technology.Telo is a San Francisco based oncology therapeutics company developing innovative targeted therapies to treat patients with cancers refractory to existing medicines. The company was co-founded by Dr. Bell and Dr. Joseph Costello, a professor in the Neurosurgery department at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Telo was established on the basis of Dr. Bell's graduate research conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Costello.
