Chief Legal Officer & Secretary
CurrentChief Legal Officer & Secretary for the CAVA Group family of companies (NYSE:CAVA). I am responsible for developing and leading legal strategy to promote and protect the interests of CAVA’s multi-channel Mediterranean culinary platform. Included are: the negotiation, finalization and interpretation of various agreements; developing, and interpreting leasehold, construction and other real estate relationships and transaction documents; creating, revising, and implementing corporate policies and initiatives; supporting CAVA's People & Culture and Operations teams; managing the litigation portfolio and developing defense posture and strategy in response thereto, and managing corporate and external counsel and other professionals; prosecution, protection and maintenance of intellectual property; managing, evaluating and reporting on corporate risk, reviewing and revising periodic reports filed with the SEC and other agencies; reporting to the Board and Board Committees on various matters; conducting periodic training sessions with supervisors and employees; and formulating legal strategies to achieve CAVA's business objectives.
