My primary role is to support academics within the schools of 'Physics and Astronomy' and 'Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering' to leverage a wide range of research and knowledge transfer opportunities, including: national and European public funding programmes, private industry research contracts, charities etc...

Provision of leadership, training, mentoring and support with regards to:- Ideation and concept development (creation, critiquing and communication)- partner / consortium identification, selection and recruitment- open innovation / collaborative innovation- technical work programme development- calaculation and coordiantion of project budgets and resources- proposal coordination, development and authoring (for public funding programmes, such as the European Commission Framework Programme)- negotiation of successful proposals- definition and negotiation of consortium agreements
