I covered the role of Team Leader for an interim period which included the line management of a team of Assistant, Planning and Senior Planning Officers within the North of the District whilst this post was vacant. This included attendance at Planning Committee, reporting of key metrics to the team and Service Managers, reallocation of work, advising Officers on cases, liaising with third parties, deputising for the Development Manager at the Development Managers Forum for East Sussex, and ensuring smooth running of caseloads within a timely manner.
