My role as a Facility Manager is to coordinate waste collections from commercial, industrial, mining and governmental hazardous household waste programs throughout the Yukon Territory and north British Columbia.I also assist in managing project and onsite service support to our clients within the Yukon Territory, to ensure all waste is safely handled, transported and disposed in accordance to environmental and governed regulations.I manage day to day operation with our Waste Transfer Station Facility to ensure all waste has been sorted, consolidated, weighted and stored according to our Facility license. Provide onsite training to staff and customers for chemical safe handling practices, water classification, the ability to read and understand Safety data sheets.

Supporting the waste management team with training and mentoring to properly handle, sort, and store waste onsite. Creating waste inventories to track all waste stored onsite and waste container identifications.

My role as a waste coordinator, I was responsible for organizing all waste received onsite, ensuring accuracy in manifests and or bill of ladings. Complete non conformance reports for any waste unaccounted for and submit this information to the client prior to handling. Consolidate and or transfer waste into larger container to maximize waste shipped off site. Provide end disposal facilities with detailed waste description, pictures and analysis for accurate waste disposal profiles. Organizing logistics and shipping of the waste in the most cost effective way and completing necessary manifests, and or bill of lading in compliance to transportation Canada regulations.

As a field technician I am responsible for assisting clients with proper disposal methods, waste segregation, knowledge of waste handling and providing onsite services. Provide quotes for waste removal and any necessary equipment or containers to safely handle the waste. Providing onsite sampling of waste for the best disposal practises.
