I bring a dynamic and strategic mindset to drive results by creating and building key stakeholder relationships, promoting product portfolios, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading negotiations, and motivating sales teams to surpass goals; all part and parcel to my success as a Market Access leader.The Market Access process ensures that all appropriate patients who would benefit, get rapid and maintained access to products at the right cost. Sounds pretty straightforward – but it’s not. The complexity of making that happen in today’s healthcare marketplace is daunting. It requires specific skills; the ability to craft and deliver a persuasive value proposition balanced in both clinical and financial merit, and the ability to develop strong and deep relationships that provide the platform to share that value proposition. It’s challenging, difficult, pressure-packed, and immensely rewarding when done correctly. And it energizes me. As the old adage goes – the most effective medication in the world doesn’t work if the patient can’t get it. Market access provides me the opportunity to solve for that problem, work for those patients that need the best medicines available, and win the day.
