I Report into the Production Control Manager. As the HR Manager for Sheffield Mail Centre I take accountability for all elements of human resource management within the Plant. I manage a team of human resource staff who have responsibility for working in tandem with the People Development Lead to deliver an integrated people plan which incorporates the full human resource cycle of products (from recruitment to retirement). I am also responsible for Plant resource planning and fulfilment, including all elements of absence management. I provide proactive front line training needs identification and scheduling, communications, management training and development and performance management for all levels within the plant.As part of the Production Control and World Class Mail team, I deliver the sustainable People products specified and determined through the World Class Mail methodology. Working in partnership with the PD lead and in tandem with the Regional HR team, and HR Services teams, I provide clear HR direction and professional guidance to the Plant Manager and team.

Working as a generalist HR Manager supporting Royal Mail International & Media. Responsible for a headcount of over 1800 employees; made up of Senior Manager, Middle Manager and Frontline Employees across multiple business units/locations throughout the UK. I worked for Exel Logistics on the British Gas contract.I was responsible for arranging all of the waste collections from the Midlands up to and including Scotland. I planned the routes and therefore had to plan how many drivers would be needed using our permanent staff and also linking in with agencies and vehicle hire companies to ensure we had enough drivers and vehicles to cover the routes. I had to make sure that each job costed into our contractual agreed rates and overall there was 1000 job to plan per day
