Planned the largest sustainment gunnery exercise in Army Reserve history, at four separate locations across the United States, targeting training of over 6000 employees.Standardized the set up of each location's operations center and the processes used in tracking all personnel, day-to-day 24 hour continuous operations, and all training certifications for all employees attending.

Directly supervised 20 personnel, responsible for all deployment readiness metrics, recruitment of Drill Sergeant Candidates, and management of allocating certified Drill Sergeants to Basic Training Units during annual training.• Through engaged planning with senior staff, implemented an aggressive recruiting and vetting program to target highly qualified Soldiers to join the program to become Drill Sergeants.• Resulted in an increase of candidates by 200% and graduation of the Drill Sergeant Academy increase of 300%.

Responsible for the supervision, training, and production of 35 employees. As the 1st shift supervisor, I am additionally responsible for the inventory and quality control of a factory producing 20,000- 30,000 cabinets parts per day.Additionally, responsible for the manufacturing of Made to Order Cabinet parts, requiring strict quality and waste control to allow unimpeded flow to the assembly line. Ensuring parts are produced to specification on time.Implemented a process for increasing the frequency of quality checks and validation resulting in a reduction of over $30,0000 of waste per month.5S Project lead redesigning tool layout for process lines resulting in 3% increase in efficiency from 102% to 105%.Designed a process for machine operators to track downtime and collect specific data to target root causes to assist in developing solutions for continuous improvement.Additionally responsible for implementing 5S practices and creating a pilot training program that resulted in a section of the factory going from 80 labor hours behind schedule to being 3 weeks ahead.

Selected as the Officer in charge of Unit Status Reporting to assess and identify shortages of key personnel and mission essential equipment for an organization consisting of 650 personnel and $200 million of equipment.Successfully planned and organized annual Department of the Army mandated training for 418 people to include Law of War, Operational and Information Security, Family Advocacy Program, and Threat Awareness and Reporting.Supervised a 15 day training exercise resulting in 23 teams and over 400 people qualified in their combat vehicles.

Responsible for a 21-man Reconnaissance Platoon deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom for 6 months; maintaining combat readiness; planning and execution of all platoon operational requirements; individual and leadership training, discipline, health, morale of the soldiers and families; maintenance and operational readiness of all platoon assigned weapons and equipment valued in excess of $30 million.Successfully planned and executed over 90 combat patrols without a single loss or injury of personnel and equipment.Halted insurgent rocket attacks on Kandahar Airfield for 6 months, the longest period in 7 years through aggressive patrolling techniques and identifying coverage of key terrain.Awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with one service star, and the NATO Service Medal for actions in Operation Enduring Freedom.
